Education and Training
At the Survivor Advocacy Center of the Finger Lakes, we believe the best way to end abuse is to prevent it! Our Community Outreach and Prevention Education team offers a variety of free trainings to community members, professionals, and schools. These trainings provide information about abuse topics and teach how to recognize and prevent abuse.
Presentations, trainings, and programs can be tailored to your group’s exact needs and interests. Common topics for trainings and presentations include:
- Consent
- Domestic/Dating/Family Violence
- Bystander Intervention
- Healthy Relationships
- Child Abuse Prevention (Erin’s Law Trainings)
- Sexual Assault & Sexual Harassment
- Human Trafficking
- Stalking
- Parenting Previously Abused Children
