Community Trainings & Presentations
The Survivor Advocacy Center of the Finger Lakes offers trainings and presentations to any sports team, club, faith group, service organization, or other community group upon request, at no cost.
Presentations, trainings, and programs can be tailored to your group’s demographics, needs, and interests. Commonly requested topics for trainings and presentations include:
- How to Recognize Domestic Violence (and how to help!)
- Consent 101 for Adults
- Domestic/Dating/Family Violence
- How to Recognize Domestic Violence in the Workplace (supporting co-workers experiencing abuse at home)
- Bystander Intervention
- Child Abuse Recognition, Reporting, & Prevention
- Supporting Loved Ones after Sexual Assault
- Parenting Previously Abused Children
